New Release and What's Next

Nov 22, 2010 at 4:22 AM

I just released v2.0.16 Beta, which includes streaming support and the new OAuth model.  Additionally, there aren't any more external dependencies; just the LinqToTwitter.dll (and pdb). There were many changes in this release and I'm certain that, despite unit testing, there are a few bugs lurking.  Some of the OAuth code is a bit ugly and I'll get in there and do more refactoring as time permits.  If you have time, post a discussion or new issue if you find a bug.  Can someone try this release on an x64 box and let me know how it works?

Next target is Silverlight and WP7.  Many of the most recent refactorings and OAuth switch over were to support the move to Silverlight, which means that I'm pretty close.

Thanks Joe,

Were using LINQ TO TWITTER here at my place of work for internal training, teaching .NET and C# by building a Twitter Application.
One of the main issues we have had was the previous implementation of oAuth so I will be looking closely at this release.

Many Thanks

That's pretty cool.  Feedback welcome.
