IsolatedStorageCredentials doesn't have Save method?

Aug 18, 2012 at 4:58 AM

Hi, I recently discovered and installed LinqToTwitter via NuGet for a Windows Phone project, and I was trying to call IsolatedStorageCredentials' Save method, like the one on the sample for OAuth credentials.

When I checked the definition of IsolatedStorageCredentials though, there's no Save method, unlike the one found on the sample. Should this be the case?

Thanks,

Martin.

Hi Martin,

I just added IsolatedStorageCredentials two days ago, so it's checked into source control, but I haven't done a release that includes it yet.  I'm doing some work this weekend and am planning a release next week.  I the meantime, you can grab the class and use it with no problem.  Here's the code:

http://linqtotwitter.codeplex.com/SourceControl/changeset/view/60f2326333b1#LinqToTwitterAg%2fOAuth%2fIsolatedStorageCredentials.cs

You can also download the source code and grab it.  I'll be modifying the class to include ScreenName and UserID too.  Here's an update that someone submitted and I have it as an issue to work on: http://linqtotwitter.codeplex.com/workitem/32497. As you can see, any ICredentials derived type can be used.
