I've got the following to get tweets in a user's timeline after authenticating using a stored token etc:
Dim twitterCtx = New TwitterContext(auth)

                Dim queryResponse =
                                From tweet In twitterCtx.Status
                                Where tweet.Type = StatusType.Home
                                Select tweet

                Dim tweets = queryResponse.ToList()

                For Each status As LinqToTwitter.Status In tweets
                                     response.write(status.statusID & "<br />")
In the above code where I am writing out the status details, the screen name is always blank. I've tried status.ScreenName but that's also blank.

Any ideas please?

Please try status.User.Identifier.ScreenName. I mentioned it in the FAQ too.
