Get Specific Group of Users / Tweets and Add to List

Would it be possible to get a specific group of users and get all their tweets to add to a public list.  In other words, the user list would not be tied to a twitter account, but instead would be specified by the application (such as from a database table).  So the list would essentially be public, but it wouldn't be random users.

Any suggestions on how to go about getting info for a select group of users with LINQ to Twitter would be extremely helpful.

Hi d,

There isn't a specific API that will do what you're asking for.  However, this is how I would do it:

1. Make space in your DB the the list of users and associate a SinceID with each user.

2. Make the query for each user, adding the SinceID as part of the where clause. This requires a separate query per user.

3. When you get your response, update the SinceID to be the latest status ID. This will keep you from requesting status you've already gotten, making your calls more efficient.
