DM Media Download Issues

description

I'm finding myself unable to display media attached to DMs. On further investigation (querying the given uri in Fiddler) I am finding that it returns a requires authorization error.

Is there any way to manually extract the authorization info from TwitterContext to use in an HttpClient request to try to download the image?

To replicate -

<Image Source="{MediaUri from DM}" />

This will fire ImageFailed with E_NETWORK_ERROR - Then try to query the same uri in Fiddler to get the authorization info.

(Windows Universal App)

So it looks like using the proxy field on IAuthorizer would be perfect for this scenario but isn't available in Windows Store apps.

There's a Proxy property on TwitterContext. Will that work?

Unfortunately it's not available in Windows Runtime Projects (IWebProxy)
