CreateFriendship throws Exception with callback ("Root Element is missing")

Using the CreateFriendship overload with the callback (see below) after going through PIN authentication, I get an XMLException telling me that the root element is null even though the request is successful (the friendship is created). This exception originates in the ProcessResults method in UserRequestProcessor.cs -- the responseXml parameter is the empty string. Is using the callback not the preferred approach for determining the result of my request?

This must be a bug in the request processor.  I copied it to a work item and will probably review and provide more tests for all of the async methods.  The non-async methods should work fine.
