Unable to undo a retweet

May 30, 2013 at 11:36 PM
I'm experimenting a strange behavior with the last version of the library. If I make a retweet with:
var result = twitterCtx.Retweet(tweetId);
And then I read the result.State.StatusID property, I obtain a new Status ID that I can pass to the DestroyStatus method to undo the retweet.

However, when I reload my timeline, the StatusID property of this tweet returns to the value that it had before my retweet (and RetweetedStatus.StatusID is null and the Retweet property is null). So, if I call DestroyStatus using this ID, I obtain an error saying that I can't delete a tweet of another person.

So, what is the problem?

Thanks.

Hi,

Undoing a Retweet is kind of tricky. Here's a previous post on the subject:
