ReplyAsync is not Replying

I'm trying to have an app of mine reply to tweets using the following code
 var twitterContext = new TwitterContext(SharedState.Authorizer);
 var status = await twitterContext.ReplyAsync(AssociatedStatus.StatusID, txtbxStatus.Text);
 txtResponse.Text = "Tweet Succesful";
AssociatedStatus is a Status Class and txtbxStatus.Text contains the text of a text box. I have it checking to make sure the text box isn't empty. The weird thing about this is that the code works, but it just posts a status and does not reply to the Status who's ID I provide. I'm wondering if anyone else has this problem or if its just a bug in my code.

You need to prefix statusText with the @UserName mention. Like this:
        static async Task ReplyAsync(TwitterContext twitterCtx)
            ulong tweetID = 401033367283453953;
            string status = "@JoeMayo Testing ReplyAsync #Linq2Twitter £ ";

                var tweet = await twitterCtx.ReplyAsync(tweetID, status);

                if (tweet != null)
                        "Status returned: " +
                        "(" + tweet.StatusID + ")" +
                        tweet.User.Name + ", " +
                        tweet.Text + "\n");
